EVOs from a roll
EVOs from a roll
Hey, everyone. New to the forums and a hopeful future EVO owner. This is my 2nd attempt at making this thread and I hope this is the suitable section.
I did a search, but came up empty handed so I thought I'd post the question here.
How are EVOs from a roll? I know they are built for the track and are launch monsters, but I'm curious how they do when they're already moving and just going in a straight line.
I want the car for the whole EVO package, but I am coming from hairy-chested American muscle, so straight line performance (from a dig or a roll) is something I'm curious about. And even if the car doesn't perform great in that respect to start with, what's it take to get her there?
Thanks in advance for your constructive replies.

you can also search youtube for "neonglh evo" and find your answer there. While Evos perform very well from a dig, since they hook so well, even with street tires, the Evo also shines at high rpm, so as long as your mph is good, your roll will be good.

u question depends on what gear ur in, speed, mods....etc
to me as long as, ur in the power range (spooling range) then u should be good to go. now the size of the turbo and cams will play a roll here as well, as some of them, outperform the rest when they are in higher rpm range (so the roll speed is a factor here!)
gl!
btw what kind of car are u coming from?

search " tdipower4me" or "k20powerz" theres a handful of vids of my car... best i went with the stock clutch was 103.. i'm sure now i'm gonna go closer to 104-105..fastest car i pulled was a stg2 srt4 that went trapped 108 from a 40 roll.
