anyone in the 12's with just intake & turbo back exhaust?

i don't want to be cutting into wires, etc.... (void warranty), so i thought i would see how fast anyone has gotten with just bolt on's that would not normally void the warranty.

thanks

Add an MBC and a boost gauge and you MIGHT get there.

The first run I made was a 12.93 with no modifications (stock car) at the time I had forgotten that the run was made with a Buschur air filter. My car was unique, turns out I had a defective boost control solenoid so it ran 19psi without tapering which explains why it ran so quick for stock.

Honestly though, your biggest gains are going to be from a combination of easy inexpensive mods.

MBC, 3" turbo back exhaust with CAT, S-AFC, and Buschur filter all netted me a best of 12.42 (very close to what Matt55 ran with his mods) without beating the snot out of my clutch.

The biggest gains were the boost controller and exhaust, although not as much for me because my stock solenoid was defective. The tuning of the S-AFC is what allowed me to fine tune what I had.

Oh, and you don't have to hack up your wiring harness to install electronics.. you can get a "Patch Harness" which is just an extesion harness that you can splice into. Its made by Field part # CN-04.. However you can order it through Z1 Performance, Skunk2 racing, or Buschur Racing. And you can remove it if you need easily.

My turbo-back exhaust system (obviously voided my exhaust warranty because the factory exhaust is long gone. hehe) Did not even raise any eyebrows at my dealership when I had some warranty repair work done. But every dealer is different, and items like a boost controller will void your warranty.

I think it might be better for you to just run with a K&N drop-in. I tried both when running stock ECU. The K&N was way better than a full intake system.
