before your power curb start dropping dramatically , Usually 200 rpm before that, i start the shift. EXample i have to do it before 6500 RPM so im start moving around 6300rpm. But that is me .
I dont think you can pin point the rpm out. Each car has different power curb.
In my opinion. I can be wrong on that , but so far that is what im doing.

ps: i have a rally car , so i have no power over 6500rpm like you drag guys.

Not to get off topic, but how smoothly does the car drive on SD? Ive been thinking about making the switch, but I want a car that drives as smooth as possible.

SD is much smoother in my opinion. Plus You ll free up atleast 20hp. Ive been starting at 8k. I think Ill try to start at 7600 and see if it helps. Thanks
