I am in man. How long until you make the thread? And what type of build will it need to hold high hp and trq evos?

For sure there is. 100%. Its just locating the parts and then finding a smart shop to put them together. AMS has the ability to do so so that's not an issue.

Thank Dan! Having these lockout issues in 2nd, but im going back to the track tomorrow night. Its going to be a little bit cooler outside, so i would like to see if that will help with anything. Also to dial the car in more. I plan to clock off my best times at the shootout so hopefully i can do it there
Btw the second gear lock out issue your going to have to short shift 1 to 2. Its the only way other then having a fresh tranny and a carbon clutch. Its not going to hurt you like u think. I had to do it in my silver car, and my times are almost right on for what my hp to weight should be. Also if ur spinning in first you never going to get in 2nd at high rpms

Exactly what you said. Short shifting into 2nd gear is what i do so the car can go into 2nd gear. The times i try to slam it a little harder at 9k is when i get locked out. I think the clutch needs to be re freshened. But im going to go back to the track tomorrow night to try again. If i have the same issues which im sure i will at 9k its not going to get any better, were going to pull the trans and put a fresh QM in there and go from there

I know Dave Buschur looked into the auto from the Evo7 a couple years back but with importing it the cost wasn't worth it.
I must say i do like rowing through the gears in the Evo so i guess it would depend upon how much it ended up beinf compared to a prep'd dogbox.
Haven't looked into it much but could you control the shifting with an aftermarket EMS
