UPDATE!!
Hey everyone,
I have been out of town for the last week on business for work. I just got back on Friday. There is really no crazy updates i can give. However, I am in the process of getting my car back on the Dyno with the new cams this week. We are going to do the cam swap on the dyno to see the power gains/difference she makes before and after. Last time it was on the dyno, it made 766whp on 40psi on the STOCK IGNITION. Now the plan is to throw my new sequential spark tech, the Kelford 288/280 and re tune and see what more kind of power she can make
Car needs some suspension adjusting and an aligment big time. The car has not been aligned since last season. With these little changes, its time to go back to the track. Im hoping this weekend or the following. 8 sec pass will hopefully come soon
This weekend I did have the car out saturday and sunday for some cruising and messing around. The weather was perfect this weekend. Took a couple quick snaps.

BOO No racing update! lol
Interested to see how those 280's work out for you Joey.
We have a set on the shelf that came out of another car that was running a 40R and i've thought about trying them out but not sure if i would benefit from them with my stock head and 6262??
I don't think my tuner was all that thrilled with them either but there might have been something else up with his set-up causing the less than desirable powerband.
His car is a 100% street car only so i hope they work out for you and your combo!
He's back on a set of Kelford 272's

I was doing some research on what cams to maybe switch too. Im running the Fp5R which are awesome cams. However, i wanted to do some researching and try something else and these were the best bet. Will see how they do. There a little bigger then the Fp5R with more duration and lift. If they dont make that much power or what not then i can always throw the Fp5R back in the car but i honestly think with my setup i will make more power but will see see.
What cams are you running in your beast? I know ive seen it in your threads i just dont remember. Kelford 272s are great cams, had those on my stock motor with stock turbo and Fp Red on stock head. Car made great power and i liked those a lot.
Ill have the dyno results hopefully at the end of the week or next week. Then from there off to the track

UPDATE!!
Hey everyone,
I couldnt get the car on the Dyno this weekend due to the Dyno being booked for tonight and tomorrow. The plan is to do a couple base line pulls the way the car sits, then do the Cam swap on the dyno and go from there
A little background, about a month ago the car made 766WHP on a Mustang Dyno on 39PSI on the STOCK IGNITION. I had a spark tech PRO CDI, but the car was breaking up a little bit on top. Long story short, threw the stock coils on the car and everything was fine. Car made that much power and went to the track the same way and went the 9.1@156.
The cams I have in the car currently is the Forced Performance Fp5R. I bought Kelford 288/280 and the new Sequential Spark tech that just came intoday (pic below). With this extras and a re-tune the car should and hope to make around 790-800whp on the Mustang Dyno. The car also needs a alignment, havent had one since last season. Car pulls terrible to the right, which is throwing the car out of traction at the track. Next Friday is the Alignment appointment and the Dyno is saturday at 2:30PM.
Everything goes well i am going to the track Sunday, if not during the next week/weekend for sure ti try for 8s
This weekend I am going to cruise the car around and enjoy it. Stay tuned for next weekend with new numbers and times!

Yeah I made 795 on the ms dyno and I wanna get the turn down for my down pipe I might make one lol.

UPDATE!
I really havent updated this because I was updated the other Thread. "Junk Box Complete!! 8s???" Recently i bought new Cams. Kelfords 288/280 and did a cam test on the dyno with my old Fp5r. With the Kelfords in on the same boost level as before(40 PSI) Car made 777who on the Mustand Dyno. After we did that run, we put the Fp5r back in the car to see what the difference would be. On 42 PSI the car made 773WHP. Above 8 grand the car just fell off. You can even hear it on the dyno.
Seeing that we didnt put the Kelfords back in the same night. We know with a few more PSI we can get close to 800. But now its time to go the track for that 8 sec pass. Car feels a lot stronger then before. I cant wait for the next track day. I was planning on going this weekend but its going to be really hot over 100 and i think its pointless to go. It looks like next week the Temps are going to drop a little bit and im definetly planning on going then
Thanks to Devin@ Boostin Performance for staying late that night and doing the cam swap. Were glad we saw the results and we cant wait to get back to the track!
Stay tuned for more results and hopefully that 8 sec!
