UPDATE!!!
Alright guys,
This week the car is getting a little tweaks before the weekend. Devin @ Boostin is changing the oil, adjusting the whole suspension, putting my sway bar back on, and getting a alignment(havent had one since last year)
The last time i was at the track this car was all over the place. I mean i was just roasting the slicks :/ I think the car was making too much power for the track that day and that resulted me in not making a full pass that night. With the new tweaks and adjustments on the suspension and the aligment, the car will def come out straighter and should hook up better
Its never good to race the car when you let your hands off the wheel and it pull straight to the left.
Since the motor is fresh and the head is fresh. Car will most likely trap higher and hope to get that 8 sec slip. I'm still on 40 PSI making 777whp on the Mustang Dyno so I know theres a lot of room to go. Me and Devin says its pointless to throw more boost at it untill we adjust the car to that track day. It only makes sense. Ill up the boost at the track and go from there!
Next week im going to try to get the car in for the cage. The cage should have been done already with the shute and harness...but since I had to go through 2 motors and fix peoples mistakes i had to push back everything. I definetly need to get the cage done ASAP. I am going to the track this Sunday without though. If the car doesnt feel right, or loose on the top end I just simply let out of it. Will see how it goes. Weather looks perfect, in the 80s and sunny. It might be a little hot, but at least the track will be sticky. I had the car out yesterday for a little bit. Took a quick pic off my iphone getting gas. Nothing special, stay tuned everyone for results from this weekend!

UPDATE!!!!
Hey everyone,
Well today i went to the track. Havent been back since the weekend i went 9.1. Its been awhile and since the shootout is right around the corner, i needed to get out there. Today was really hot. It was around 95 degrees
It was really uncomfortable and we all tried to stay as cool as possible.
Today i wanted to make some solid passes and see what the car can do. Last time the car had traction issues and it was all over the place. Finally i got a aligment and Devin @ Boostin adjusted my whole suspension. Car came out a lot straighter. Top end car stayed striaght as well and i did not need to let out.
The best pass of the day was a 9.60@150. Trap speed was down a lot from 2 months ago. The last passes of the day i had break up issues and car getting locked out of 2nd at high RPM. It seems everytime i try to rev it to 9k and slam 2nd, i get locked out. If i ease it into 2nd gear it goes in fine. The only problem with that is it wont help me get the times i want. I might need to re freshin the clutch, or put fresh syncros in it. We will see what we decide this week. Overall it was fun to get back out there and launch the car. Now i know the car goes straight, its just a matter of the car going into gear at that RPM and hard shifting. I will keep everyone updated this week on what the plan of action is. I plan on getting out to the track 1 more time before the shootout.
Stay tuned!

Damn, if its not one things its another...At least you were able to get some seat time and the car is going straight out of the hole now! Keep us updated sir, hopefully you will still make it to the shootout!
This is what happens when we have race cars i guess! hahaha. I will 110% be at the shootout with the car. If it needs a rebuild on the clutch im going to do that. I think the syncros are okay, i just think the clutch needs to be re built. We will see my friend. Ill keep everyone updated on what the plan of action is!
My trans is being looked at right now. If I have to order a rebuild kit for my Exedy it will be ordered.
We'll have the cars at the Shootout.
Next week were pulling the trans also. I think im going to put a fresh QM in there and put new synchros in it while its out. Might as well if everything is out. What are u shifting at when you rev to 2nd? It seems like a lot of people are having issues with locking out. But like you said man, both cars will be at the shootout all ready to go!

I wonder who rocked these out before me
