break down my timeslip
well went this morning to MIR for some runs and got 5 runs in but 2 of them 4th locked out on me. Average was around 12.5's due to spinning all over the place. I dropped my tire pressure to 25 psi, got a good launch and got:
60': 1.657
330: 5.011
1/8: 7.779
MPH: 87.48
1000: 10.117
1/4: 12.031
MPH: 118.51
2.3L, DBB Black, 1100 HiZ, SpoolinUp COP, ported manifold, 245/40/18 street radials. Mixed 1/4 tank of 103 octane with 1/4 tank 93 (tune was untouched from my 93 map). Temps were around 75 degrees or so, no winds. Is this pretty much average with the Black or is does something not look right? Thanks.

i would assume a better trap speed with a stroker and fp black. Thats a stock turbo e85 setup or bbk pump gas set up trap for a lot of guys on here. Like above said the weight and power level could be an indicator for you also.
Seems like the car is low in power for your setup. The spinning will probably explain why you only went 12.X with a 118mph trap. I would think it should be able to trap at least 124-125.

It's full weight minus the spare tire, and VD is showing 424whp. I ran 12.2@116 with my BBK full last year but the weather was cooler. I too was expecting 120's but wasn't sure the weather effected it as much or what. I leak tested up to 35 psi (running 31 psi) and nothing, so something's up with this. Thanks for the input, I'm still trying to figure this out.

Thanks, hopefully I fixed my problem. Noticed my turbo "band clamp" was loose and dripping a little bit of oil. While I was checking things, I noticed some oil on the passenger side, apparently I forgot to retorque the valve cover after I had it powdercoated. It seems to be running a little better, have to wait for these 100 degree temps to go away before trying another run. If my ET stays the same, there has to be an issue with the tune or something.
