I had the same problem!

Problem : Soft rear differential bushings

My solution :
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ck-problem.htm

Bushing I used:
Whiteline ~$70 + Shipping, ship from Australia

Hours in shop:
Took 2-3 hours depending on your shop

>> Eliminates that problem 95%, the clunk or jerky motion when changing gears are not very noticeable now.

FYI -- we carry those in Canada, no need to order from Australia lol!

I seem to be having a MASSIVE clunk on downshifts in the rear, I'm going to put it on the lift tomorrow but definitely suspect something is loose and quite possibly diff bushings.

Cheers,
Jason
