From around idle, maybe get RPMs up to 1200 max for slight hills.

quick blip of the throttle then letting out the clutch and giving it gas at full grab from 1000 to 1200 rpm

when you guys are saying "from idle"....do you mean by slowly releasing the clutch until it gets to the point where the car will move forward without giving any gas?

ignore him, i think he was kidding. From idle is retarded give it some gas. But what you said, they mean to slowly release it until the clutch is fully engaged and the car hasnt stalled and you are moving. its good to be ABLE to do it from idle but theres no way you would do that everywhere cuz it makes for a veryyyy slow start. If you do this at a red light you would be holding up ppl most likely. And there is NO reason for and idle start, its not like your reallydestroying the clutch with every start at 1000 r 1500 rpms, come on its fine thats what your supposed to do.

i keep em right at idle.... balance the clutch and gas so the tach doesnt usually move off the 1k rpm mark.
