More than likley due to the MBC. I think this was what was causing his misfires and rich bank codes due to the ECU protecting the engine by dumping fuel and pulling timing after seeing too much boost. This is something that I experienced in the winter with my car. Just a few clicks of the mouse on the boost map rectified this problem. Did you attempt to turn the boost down on the MBC to see if it would solve the problem? I would like to see boost charts if possible of both tunes.
Thanks!
Thanks!
What I can say though is that the boost was set all the way out on the Hallman MBC and the Tial watsegate was controlling the boost
The LOWEST his car would boost was 23 - 24 psi on his gauge which coresponds with this pump gas boost map from Atlanta - this is noramally a bit on the high side for pump gas but seems to be the only way this very weak *** turbo can make any power what so ever. At stock boost level it would be less than stock tq.
BTW - dyno jet does not log the MAP pressure on the dyno.
The boost was left alone and never riased and could not be lowered without removing his wastegate spring and replacing it with a lighter one

ALL I know is that it is really a suck *** turbo
The TME unit which Buschur sells for $975 blows it away in every manner and don't even think to compare it to the Greddy set up
A modified turbo should be at 400 whp on pump gas - maybe 380 without cams minimum

i can't imagine that ATP would send it out like that.

I know about that and Shiv too. I had my WG set to 22 psi since day one back in Cali and Shiv had zero complaints about it. The car was driven to GA to correct and see if there are any issues. My mbc was never used except on race map. Smogi knows that too as he was at the gas station with me in Oakland when I turned my boost all the way down. Controlling boost with the WG will not allow spikes (I only spike 1 psi in some cases). 22~23 psi on our cars is not bad so I don’t know why you guys are surprised!!!
ATP advertised 340~350WHP on dynojet with no cams from day one using that setup and I don’t think they lied. The turbo should make more power with cams and WIK no questions asked and it might hit the 380~ 400 on pump. I don’t know why you guys are complaining so much here about the turbo. It's not the best but it’s making the 340 on pump by itself with no help. For god sake I still have the stock intercooler.
I am extremely happy with the car now and it drives like stock with no cams burbel and no problems. It’s not the fastest but it's pretty fast and I am happy with it and of course I am happy with the dynoflash tune.

Many people dont know and dont understand that. Dont waste your time
^^ yeah seriously eveyone is making this thing go way over hand He is one of the first people to try this kit and he is happy with it. Now everyone is bashing him. im tired seeiing this guys name being talked about already dont people have something else to talk about seriously
