I was going to stay there until 9PM in fact I was willing to stay over night but what freaked me out is how much different Eric response was after the small chat (lets not stress this part please). I know that you were busy but I had zero attention. One word from you would have solved and made me wait but I cant come up to you and say hey Shiv what are we going to do while you are busy (not me). I always leave the tuner alone as I don’t want to bug them (I bugged AL pretty well today
). By you not talking to me made me feel un-welcome.

I was surpised that you left before even talking to me. And with regards to your PM, I was not able to juggle the schedule around to fit you in as soon as you arrived. We were all guests of Turbotrix and everyone had to be taken car of equally and fairly.
If anyone wants to continue the Vishnu Dyno Day discussions, I welcome you all to the following thread:

Just to summarize:
By Al's own admission, he didn't make any more power, he didn't significantly improve spool, and rather than troubleshooting the alleged problem with the customer's piggyback, he scrapped it and put in his own reflash which will need continual replacement - for example, when Az3ar scraps the ATP turbo for something built to better tolerances.
Now why was this even worth posting up, except to indulge some childish tuner vs. tuner bloodthirst?
See this thread for what it is.

I dont think this was a tuner vs. tuner debate. I think it was to show how company A can correct a problem. Thats all. Its to inform anyone who has problems with their car that it can be fixed. If the car came into your shop dynoing like it was and you fixed it, would you keep it to yourself? You wouldn't want to let people know what your capable of, so you can continue and grow your business?

I gave him a list of things to look at with the scan tool while I was busy with my scheduled appointments. He didn't have to do this. He was just trying to troubleshoot things while i was tied up on the dyno. I don't know about the significance of the "small chat" you are referring to, or that your lended tools to someone else.

The root of this problem stems from Georgia. Although I cannot judge how much time you need on a car, I know for a fact that you spent - at most - 1/2 of the time on my car, than you spent on the others. My car wasn't even driven by you. If you drove it, you may have felt the problem right then and I wouldn't have had to drive to N.J. in the first place. You were very insistent that it was a boost leak even after I assured you it wasn't. My car was boosting fine and your lack of trust and "new information" made me second guess your loyalty to me as a customer.
No hard feelings now and good luck to all of us. I wish you the best.

But since you brought it, what capability was actually demonstrated here, apart from the "capability" to convince the customer to throw away an expensive piggyback without trying to figure out what might have been actually wrong with it or the tune?
Surely an AEM certified tuner could troubleshoot a little timing or fuel problem with a piggyback or tune? Or is that more than Al was willing to do ... for free?
We'll never know the whole story but we've learned that if you're a dissatisfied customer of the competition, you get the red carpet treatment, so long as you are willing to sweep the details under the same red carpet.
Sounds like everyone who is serius about power and driveability need to set up and appointment with a tuner rather than going to crowded "dyno days" Personally, I take my car to AMS for a custom tune everytime I get any mod. I know that for the AEM EMS Martin takes cars out for 6 hours to correctly tune them. I know its lot more money, but well worth it in my opinion.

I personally have seen Al work and have never met anyone with such a huge passion for what he does. Good job

In life its very sad that sometimes you bend over backwards to help someone the best way you can and you wind up wasting a lot of time and having nothing but frustration and regret.

I don’t know if I know in person or not but I don’t like sweeping things under the carpet. People know me and they know that I am honest guy. I was waiting for the cell light to pop up on the way back home (hoping it was not the tune) sadly it was. If the cell came on I would have realized that it's my car (hardware) that is causing the issue, sadly it was the tune. Again, this thread is not here to prove that Shiv can tune or not this thread is here for customer satisfaction.
BTW nothing was free today. I paied the full $400 tune time. Dan can post and scan the charges on my CC.
I will leave it to that and for more details please PM me
Thanks
