But, in all fairness, you can't expect to go to a dynoday PACKED with cars in line to get tuned and expect to get royal treatment when your car has issues. You should understand that you only have an hour allotted time to get a TUNE, not to get all your bugs worked out from a crappy set up. Sure when you go see a tuner and pay by the hour they can get your car perfect(in most cases). Can't expect all that in 1 hour though.
Like i said, im not taking sides, i just want to point that out.

lol, you just shot yourself in the foot.
My car did not have any hardware issues. None, please read the thread and ask before you make assumptions.
My car was on the dyno at GA for less than 35 (including starp time) min total with no after drive from Shiv to catch the hiccups.
People jumped in GA dyno day front of me on the dyno and took my spot and I was so nice and did not care
I drove for 2000 miles so I get royal treatment.
no hard feelings

Mayer,
I was perfectly willing and happy to troubleshoot your car. Just as we talked about on the phone. I was happy that you were willing to drive up to NJ. I thought that meant a lot. However, as Eric (the organizer of the dyno day) told you when you arrived, I coudn't get to it until the other appointments (all of which were scheduled to the hour) were taken care of. In other words, I couldn't reschedule those 10 tunes to accomodate a car that needed troubleshooting. Such a car could have taken any amount of time and required any number of resources. Perhaps I was naive in thinking that you were willing to wait until the end of the day until all my commitments were satisfied. I was at Turbotrix, not at my shop there was only so much I could do. And since we didn't talk to eachother than a quick "hey" I can see how expections, on either end, were not met. But I hope you and your brother understand that me being terse was a function of my schedule, not a slight to you, your brother or your turbo. I'm just bothered I didn't get a chance to look at your car before you took off without saying goodbye. If I had known that you expected immediate attention upon your arrival at Turbotrix, I could have worked something out.
Regardless, I'm happy your CELs are gone and that you are happy with your car once again.
All the best,
shiv

...... Az3er post up the dyno4mance sheets (HP, AFR), I want to see what they look like compared to these. Why didn’t you call Andrew at his shop, he would have been glad to help? You did not even give us, a chance to help you out. How can you be so sure that this was a particular tuning issue? This could have been due to some other unforeseen problem like differences in gas between the regions. Also, don’t you have that Hollman boost controller still installed? Did you remember to turn the boost down on the hollman and flip the switch on the Xede like we told you numerous times to do after you had used the race gas? The chart to me seems as if the car was holding boost to far out and causing the ECU to pull timing to dump fuel and protect the motor. I think there were many people that day at Dyno4mance that told you to use the boost controller built into the Xede. There may have not been any problems if standard procedure was followed. However, I guess we’ll never know.
I think posting up these dyno sheets was a bad idea as was a marketing ploy. I think it was well known what the implications would be and what would transpire. If it would have been me, I would have not allowed my dynosheets to have been posted, at least to keep the turmoil down on the forums.
Also, for apples to apples comparison, the start of the session should have been started at the same time for each tune.

How did i shoot myself in the foot? My point was, nobody has time on a day like that that is hectic as hell to spend a lot of time making cars perfect.
I guess you got the raw end on this one, but im saying i don't see what you expected with 8 people going on the dyno the same day as you. Personally, i would have let andrew tune it on another day. Lots cheaper and he would have had a lot more time to devote to your car.

Shiv,
I was at TT for at least 3 hours. I mean I had the chance to take all my stock boost lines out as Eric told me to do so!!!! I slept in the car and I lent my tools to the WRX guy
. I was there for good 3 hours. I was going to stay there until 9PM in fact I was willing to stay over night but what freaked me out is how much different Eric response was after the small chat (lets not stress this part please). I know that you were busy but I had zero attention. One word from you would have solved and made me wait but I cant come up to you and say hey Shiv what are we going to do while you are busy (not me). I always leave the tuner alone as I don’t want to bug them (I bugged AL pretty well today
). By you not talking to me made me feel un-welcome.

I did call Andrew many many times asking for A/F ratio and I still did not get them!!! I can't keep calling every day as I feel a bit silly after few phone calls.
please dont doubt me. I went through all the proper trouble shooting steps.

I don't recomend getting tuned at any dyno day - quality is sacrificed. My test drives usually take at least 10 minutes at least. By the time you talk about strapping and unstrapping cars and proper cool down time betwen pulls - there is only time for a few pulls, not enough to do any serious tuning.
