You're not the only one, Az3ar.

My brother has been without his STI for the last 5months (which Shiv kindly blew up and didn't give a crap about afterwards) and I'm stuck running the crappy Xede on my AMS 35r EVO. Stalling, fluctuating boost, etc are a routine problem on that car.

Can't wait for the ECUtec to come out for the EVO!!

I guess me, Smoggy and several others were lucky.

Want to talk about the numerous problems you've had over the months, or about how Smoggy blew up his car last weekend??

Don't suck Shiv's salty *****, Ron. You weren't lucky at all
You personally told me of the problems.

Tom, u are so wrong on this. Smoggy did his own thing, upped the boost and screwed his car up. My car runs great after we figured out the issues. Spark Plug gap decreased and it was like magic. Patience has worked out for me In this one and u jumped ship a lil early. I have seen cars down here with built motors, stroker kits, AEM Ems,ported heads etc u still trapped higher than all of them on ur 100 oct tune. U had one issue with ur c-16 tune not working and I had the same problem. However, most Evos I see out here run c rappy out here on that s hit. U quit too soon.

First off let’s not start having a tempter tantrum. Al did a great job! I was not there to make more power, I was there at Pruven to make my car work right. I was there to solve my codes issue (every 2 seconds) PO172 and PO300. For the guys who don’t know PO172 it means rich in bank one. I drove my car for 300 miles just right now and I had not even one engine check light (not even one). I know that the turbo is not putting the amazing power that we all look for but we have to remember that I have no cams and no mods. This turbo is not the best out there but it does the job well and it spools just like stock. It hold boost to redline 7800 RPM 24 PSI.

Now let’s start from point ZERO. My car ran on Vishnu tune for 1 year with out any problems. I moved to VA and I wanted Shiv to make sure that my car was running ok at Dyno4mance day. I knew it would not make much power but I did not want to take the turbo off. My car ran poorly after the dyno day 2 weeks ago. I got PO172, PO300 and PO303 every second of the day. My car would not start, my car would not idle right, my car would stall at 80 MPH on the highway!!! I needed a fix; I needed my car to run just right nothing more nothing less. Dynoflash (AL) did a great job today. He was nice and polite and he took care of me as much as he could. Pruven (DAN, SEAN and KEN) were all extremely nice and polite and they made me feel welcome and that's all I wanted.

Al made sure after more than 13 dyno runs and road test that my car was 100% OK and no engine check light.

Shiv,

You are a nice guy and I know you. We sat at the same dinner table. I am not here to bash your product or you. You are a good tuner and you have experience. However, you did not pay attention to me as a customer, as supporter to you and your company. I am sure you can tune it perfect but you did not want to and you felt and believed that the turbo sucks (it's not the best again) but all I wanted is my car to run fine Shiv. I drove 2000 miles for you from GA to NJ and took 1 week off work including gas and toll charges and I did not find the help. I felt bad and I was seriously hurt and I did not know what to do. You left a good customer who really liked your company with no help and no support (what did you expect the results to be?).

AL is a great tuner period. My car runs perfect now with 0 hiccups and no stalling at the toll booths on NJ turn pike . I will have to give great credit to Dynoflash for the great work and the great service.

Thanks and good luck
Guys please note..

When it comes to what Az3ar said...that is how it's worded and said. No bashing, no flaming, just straight and truthful. That's how things should be more often

A lot of people do bash Al...but for the most part (at least 95%) haven't even worked with Al or met him in person. If they did meet him in person his confidance might be taken as kockyness (yes spelled wrong to bypass word police). I can tell you that that kind of an assumption is totally wrong. Al knows his stuff and is a great guy. He busts his @$$ to get the customer satisfied to the best of his abilities and if he isn't happy with what he's done...he will tell you! If you have any doubts at all...at the very least meet him, call him, give him a chance...you'll be happy you did!

Customer service is a high priority for people...especially myself. I tried to contact Vishnu several times back when I wanted items for my car before AL even came out with Dynoflash. I was looking at a lot of different items. After almost an entire month of phone calls, e-mails, and PM's...I got NOTHING in return from anyone at Vishnu. That sealed it for me and I'd never get anything from them because I feel if you can't be there for your customer other then to take their money...then why bother being there at all? That's why I support people I can trust like AMS, Buschur Racing, and Dynoflash. I had LONG talks with Al when he came out here WHILE he was driving a year ago from CT to Chicago...he couldn't have been nicer! At first I caught him at home when he was taking his dog out for a walk, and then I caught him again while driving. He was awesome and totally friendly, especially since he was driving on the highway talking on his phone in a stickshift car with no hands free kit! LOL

AMS will always have my business! I swear I've NEVER been treated so well by Kris when he was working there and by Eric and Martin. You want customer service...those are the guys to go to! (Sorry to keep this part short...this isn't an AMS thread)

Al...Good job on Az3ar's car! Nice to see that all of his problems were taken care of with great customer service! You rock bro...keep up the great work and do me a favor...Saturday the 16th is my B-day and I can't make it out to Norwalk...bring home that trophy!!! LOL Good luck!!!

I have nothing against Vishnu, but there is no excuse for this But you know, being in business for myself you are bound to run into snags, I know I've pissed a few customers off over the years.......I hope that Vishnu owns up and tries to make amends.

Im not in anyone's camp, but i like what ive got and ive got my own agenda, and a flash just isn't for me. I like to tinker.

But, in all fairness, you can't expect to go to a dynoday PACKED with cars in line to get tuned and expect to get royal treatment when your car has issues. You should understand that you only have an hour allotted time to get a TUNE, not to get all your bugs worked out from a crappy set up. Sure when you go see a tuner and pay by the hour they can get your car perfect(in most cases). Can't expect all that in 1 hour though.

Like i said, im not taking sides, i just want to point that out.
