Dyno Flash IX Attack !!!!!!!! 11.74 Reasons why Road Tuning makes a lot of power !
Guys I am an a TEAR this season
I am at world famous Moroso Race Track in Sunny South Florida
82 degrees and high humidty are the word of the day at the 1st NHRA Sport Compact event of the season
My mission today - road tune member MOST WANTED who previously went 12.0 on the base Buschur Flash Stage II for Evo IX on pump gas and 20 psi
Last night I spent 4 hours fine tuning his tune on PUMP GAS only
This car was set up for the dual stage flash, I poured in a few gallons of 100 octane unleaded and tunred the boost to 24 psi - man what a machine, I knew it was going to be fast today at the track
11.74 @ 113 mph was the result in the first round of braket racing today
The mods are
Buschur 3 " Exhaust - magna flow muffler
Buschur intake
Buschur upper fmic pipe & cruhed 1 G bov
Walbro fuel pump
Forge MBC
Custom Dyno Flash Street tune
I can tell you guys that going to a race just as a tuner with no need to drive and wrench is a lot more fun for me. With nothing to do but watch my customer go fast it is a real joy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would say that on a cool night this car is good for an 11.6 which IMHO is not bad for a car running a dedicated pump gas map which is a daily driver
The funny thing I want to know, once again, if road tuning is such a bad method of tuning cars then how come all the road tuned Dyno Flash Evos are going so fast this season ???????????????????????????????????
ONLY REAL whp can get a car down a real race track in front of 5,000 people and make it fast.
Congrats to member MOST WANTED for a great run down the track (with only one shot he made it count) and for Buschur Racing for making a great inexpensive package of parts
ALL THE TIMES ON THIS THREAD WERE ROAD TUNED
Here ALSO are some OTHER very RECENT track times and results from a few of my happy customers which show what kind of power evos safely make with my tuning and services
All of these great track results were obtained on the past MONTH
Some of them were obtained within a day or two of getting tuned
Spring is here and I am optomistic that as the tracks start to open we will see more and more examples of real world performance and results which can be proven and realized
All of them on independant racing facilities by the customers themselves with no outside assistance or support of any kind
Results speak volumes
Here they are - agsin these all were done in the past month

Congrats to Most Wanted on his numbers.
Now Im not trying to start an arguement, but what are the reasons that road tuning is better? I dont see any of the reasons listed here. Does a dyno not make real whp that will get a car down a track in front of people after it has been tuned as well? Just trying to get some information

I do a lot of dyno tuning myself
The pointg I am trying to make is in response to recent suggestions by other tuners that road tuning is ineffective
Clearly my recent success with road tuning contradicts that theory
BTW - in my experience it takes a good amount of time to proerly tune a car - in most cases I like to spend at least two hours. I think the time spent to tune the car is more important than the method you use.
If the tune is consisantly within specified parameters and stable and repeatable overa wide variety of road environements then it is the way I like to have my completed work
It is generally hard to achive that level of comfort on a dyno as it is a artificial load which is only an approximation
OMG! What a rush
This custom flash is insane. I only had one practice run and one bracket run. I just wish it was a little cooler. 11.5-11.6's are well within reach on a cooler day. The sun was just brutal. Either way, I showed many people today that Dynoflash and Buschur are an awesome team. Thanks so much guys.
On a side note;
I want to take a minute and thank Al for really taking the time to help me out. Not only is the car fast, it runs great. The custom tune knocked off basically.3 tenths from the base tune. I also have to say he is a really descent guy. He actually went to the track and helped me out during the day. From tire pressure to whatever was needed. He helped out and let me concentrate on the driving. It was really cool of him, I think. Anyways, to anyone who is thinking about a dynoflash, you won't be disappointed. I will be doing a full write up on the tuning base vs custom later this evening and about the track event today with timeslip info.
Now, for the Buschur products. All I can say is they performed flawless with no problems. No boost leaks or couplers coming loose. I can't say enough about the great parts he makes. Thanks David.
Now, I am going to go stare at my timeslip for a little while
