you should be around there, albeit less with stock boost

 

Of course. That's the standard when discussing Dynojet numbers. Not saying Dynojets are better, because they are actually not as good as many other dyno types, but Dynojet numbers are still used as the basis for comparison and reference.

 

Got the MBC today :tup: thanks for the advice, and will be sending the ECU out... when I eventually have the cash.

follow up question:

So I'm staring at this exhaust and all I think about is wanting to bolt it on... hahaha

will bolting the exhaust on be beneficial/harmful/pointless without the tune? I've got the itch and just want to know if I can slap it on before the flash and gain anything.

 

You can install it - go ahead. If you install the TBE _and_ the MBC, you will definitely get some good gains. Just be sure to set the boost to 20-21psi. Then, with the flash, you'll get another big jump.

 

i rode in a friends 9mr with a turboback, boost controller, drop in filter and custom dynoflash and that fudker pulled like a train!

 

I agree with Warrtalon....My base flash stock everything plus MBC, yielded ~50 whp gain....so I imagine you will get at least 80 whp with all of your goodies.....

Do a before and after dyno run to really see the difference -- you will be amazed....Al does some very nice work.

I agree with warr! Don,t be stupid like me I dyno my car at 19 psi and i got 315whp and 293 max torque. I am gonna dyno it again and see how much whp i get on 21 psi.

I have similar mods and put down 304whp/304whp on 91oct on a Mustang Dyno with a mail -in base dynoflash on a Evo 9.


The only difference is that I had a MBC but no test pipe, your car is the other way around(No MBC but a test pipe).
