Hey AL quick question?

I got your base flash when you were down here in vegas at dougs dyno . You flashed me for my mods below but i didnt have my walbro fuel pump in yet , i told you i was getting the fuel pump shortly so you flashed me for having a fuel pump. Anyhow after the flash the car hauled *** , very strong even with A/c going on a 100 degree day . but today i installed the fuel pump that you flashed me for and it seems like the car is much slower ?? The stock fuel pump felt alot stronger in the car , but im sure i was running lean with that because i was flashed for a walbro , any thoughts al??

The evo ECU learns over time and its a good thing to reset it every once in a while to return it back to Al's settings for your mods. I did the exact same thing. Once i reset it after I put it in I noticed the power came back. . I found that tid bit of info on one of the dynoflash threads posted by Al.

You were not supposed to drive the car hard with the previosu tune which would have been overly lean without the walbro pump

Now your car is prob sinificantly richer - but safer and may be making a bit less power
