Update on my flash

Al,

In my other post you mentioned that you will send me an updated flash.
I have a few questions.

Also you recommended a different spark plug gapped to 25 (What was the number of the plug?)

That post was deleted that is why I don't have the information.

Do you need me to send back the flash or you still have a copy?

I'm posting the dyno on the regular gas at 19 psi with the A/F if this helps.

I also have a video of the dyno that you can listen to the engine clearly on all the dynos and the operator comments. (not that you need that of course)

I will post the link to that as soon as it is available.

Here is the dyno sheet:

I really apreciate your help.

Do you plan to come to the NW any time soon? I would love to have a custom tune.

Thanks

with those mods, you should run the Al reccommended NGK BR7ES gapped to .025-.026.

AFR seems kinda lean up top for pump fuel. shouldn't it be low to mid 11's?

Don't know what happened in the last thread

Looking at this dyno sheet at obviously lower boost I would say that we need to add more fuel on your tune

Just email me your current map and remind me who you are and I will do it at no charge

On the plugs - NGK BR 7 ES is what I suggest gaped at 25

Yeah, sign up for the Seattle trip and send your deposit.

Also, if you had turned the boost to 21psi like normal for a modded 05 (20psi is stock, 19 is below stock), the AFRs probably would have been a good bit lower.

Yeah I know and I have run that in the street, but there was a misfire and could only run at 19. Also tried 24 psi on race fuel but had to lower to 22 and only did 311 (uncorrected) but the graphs were all over the place (pulling timing).

Al recomended to change the plugs and enrichen the mixture.

Hey Warr, taking about my odd mods, what should be my next few mods?.

Thanks

i'm not warr, but he'd probrably say a test pipe and downpipe to make your exhaust a full turboback, then after that you could think about some camshafts.

Glad to see everything getting cleared up SuperSupra .

Don't forget, we want updated numbers asap!

Warr - Will you elaborate on the post you made about the AFR's going down with higher boost? I'm confused, this seems like it is quite contradictory.

The upper IC pipe is only for this bov.

I have the version 2 BOV and I do not have idling problems.

I agree with you on something, even when people say they run fine, the driving method has to be changed and part throttle driving is affected. Fuel mileage decreases (a lot). I had no problems at all,, but I guess my high boost misfire was caused by the rich condition afftecting the spark plugs (over time).

For now I think I'll re-route it to the intake and see how it works.

I ordered a cat delete and plan to buy a downpipe. Next I think I'll update to a 20G.
