Really? i would have more faith if it was randomly done car. Just say they had 2 stock evos that dynoed the exact same number. 1 had dyno flash the other had vishu's flash. then test the 2 cars see how they perform.

I still dont see how this test the tuner? if you want to test the tuner let them both turn the same evo and see how gets higher numbers on the dyno, better gas milage stuff like that.

How does driver skill test the tuner? If some is a good drive and can barely tune beats a better tuner but not as good of a driver how does that make them a better tuner?

Im not picking on anyones driving skills by the way i have no room to talk.
A good example is Mueller from RRE. His suspension tuning skills are excellent and people trust his recomendations and setups because he has proven he can win with it. Engine tuning isnt the only thing out there. Tym from bushur, the man can tune and he proves it in his runs. Dyno runs dont prove anything, its the actual performance on the track. I personally dont care for dyno queens, I want to see real world performance.

Not only is my track time there to see - BUT I drive to all these races IN my car - ON the street - race and drive back home - hardly a dyno queen - -but I have some nice dyno sheets to go along with it !

Im not doubting you Al I was trying to make some suggestions as to who should drive(as you mentioned earlier) to make it fair. I figured if every tuner drove their own car it would make it a little more acceptable instead of everyone hiring professional drivers or having a more seasoned driver than someone else.

I know i rember you when i got my wrx. then the STI from nas. so i know you and the number you do on those 3. when i got my STI was watching you to see how you did the only reason i trade the sti on the EVO was because 4 gear syncro went up. but i like the evo more. i may not agree we you all the time but you have to respect some one who makes power in a new car fast. and AL did with all 3.
