Dyno Flash and the 0300 code reflash from Mitsubshi
Apparently
has released its long awaited 0300 code fix reflash
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=88937
I am now offering a FREE Dyno Flash and free lifetime upgrade flashes to anyone who is getting this reflash and who wants to donate their ECU to me for about 7 - 10 days
What I am going to do is have the code extracted from the ecu in order to allow us to update every Dyno Flashed ecu with the new operating code 0300 fix
Each and every custom tune and base flash we have is backed up on hard drive and once we have the new 0300 base code it will be a short process to update any ecu with your current flash and install the Dyno Flash tuning modifications over the new program
VERY IMPORTANT POINT - although we have no concrete verification of this yet - we assume that when you take your car in for the 0300 code reflash your Dyno Flash will be erased in the process. No need to panic - just send in your ecu and we will re-install your Dyno Flash FREE of charge.
It seems that we will be UNABLE to offer the update 0300 code corrected Dyno Flash until wecan get a donor ecu in here to pull the new code
I will have more information for all of you on this process and what it means in the comming days
In the meantime - please understand that unless you are ne of the very FEW evos out there which are experiencing this 0300 code problem then you WILL NOT NEED this new update flash from your
dealership
If anyone has any more specific questions - call me anytime

Thanks for quickly addressing the issue for us.
You say "very few" Evos get this code. I'm not one of them. Is this something that develops over time and milage or happens randomly?

We are hearing mixed reports from those who have revieved the 0300 code update flash - some are saying that it did NOT work on their car - we are holding off on cdevelopment for a coupld of weeks to see hos this "fix" is working before we elect to start providing support for it
Really funny on my car started at 10000 miles after that everyday on the freeway 5th gear... since Ive reached 20000 miles and the PO300 is gone, pretty happy,my guess is the tranny finally broke in.... I dont drive the car hard so dont know if thats a contributing factor... Hope you extract that new code, and see what they actually did
Al,
I have your through the mail flash, and started getting the code once in a while, around 30K with stock clutch, then had my tranny fixed (5th gear grind), not under warranty I might add! Going through arbitration as we speak. Clutch replaced with Spec stage III. I digress.
Now I am getting it quite often. Changed plugs and it went away for about a week and now it is back. Any info on what causes this? Is it the knock sensor picking up a vibration or road noise, or the cam sensor picking up the same thing? Is it possible to put a resistor in line, to cut down on how much it picks up? Just some thoughts.
