Dual fuel tanks

Is there a way to have a switch to go between the stock fuel tank and a fuel cell?

There is obviously a bit of a concern with mixing regular gas and E85. Depending on how much you mix, you could potentially throw off the octane rating and burn characteristics quite a bit. If there was a way to have a fuel cell in the trunk and have a switch to have the fuel pulled from there you could change the tune back and forth very easily without worrying about the fuels mixing. Obviously you would need two tunes and the capability to switch back and forth, but that's already readily available.

You set up the fuel cell like normal. And then you wire the fuel pumps to toggle switches and give them power individualy.

Just drive about 10-20 miles after your fuel light comes on and put in your desired fuel....Sounds a bit easier...

yeah dual fuel is hard to do, but i guess the 'cheap' option is just have a 10L jerry can in the boot - fill it with moonshine :P

you could get the AMS VSR intake manifold with the dual fuel rails, have one hooked up to the stock tank and a extra set for your fuel cell. you can add a second row of injectors to most manifolds. this why you would not contaminate the 2 fuels by blending them in the same lines....

If you can switch between the two pumps in the two tanks then that is half the battle. You also need to be able to switch the fuel return lines so you don't start mixing fuel.
