Made the switch to E85 with dyno results
Hello I recently made the switch to E85 and got tuned over at FFTEC by Sean. Cool guy as he spent quite a while dialing in my tune on the dyno trying to make it work
2006 Evolution GSR
Stock Block + ARP headstuds
Stock Turbo
FFTEC BCS
FIC 1100cc HighZ injectors +Spoolinup Bypass
Walbro 255
ETS LICP + 3"FMIC
3" TBE
SE OMG Filter
Exedy Twin
Crushed IX DV
That's about it for power mods. Some downsides is my throttle body shaft seals are super leaky, my 02 bung is not in a great position for a wide band, and I need an Omni 4bar so i'm sure Sean played it a bit safe.
I made 361awhp and 349awtq on FFTEC mustang dyno @29psi
My car feels like a BEAST and smooth. Also smells "sweet"

Nicely done Bro. You & I have very similar mods. I produced 407whp / 402tq but on the numbers favorable Dyno Jet.
Ive been on the alcohol for 1.5 years & have never switched
Congratulations for sure
Peace

Nice. I saw your results on another forum too. I've been on e85 since last October and would never think about going back to 91 octane. Take the rack off and gain 50 more horse!!!
Maybe we will see ya around. Oh you might post this in the dyno section.

Those are some awesome results. I hope I can see about the same from my E85 tune. E85 is some of the best fuel ever. If you have it local to you I dont know why anyone would run anything else.

I am waiting for a few more stations with E85 to pop up in the Orlando area before making the switch. I am curious what I could expect to gain from E85 on an Evo IX with all the bolt ons, cams and a BBK full.
