1000cc injectors E85 and MAP EF2 turbo
What do you think, will I be able to cope with Fiveomotorsport 1000cc EV14 injectors and hardwired Aeromotive Stealth 340 pump? These injectors are pretty close to ID1000 in specs.
I have MAP EF2 turbo, forged non mivec 2.0 4G63 engine, 3" exhaust, Tomei Poncam 260 cams, intake etc. Will be running stock intercooler so not planning to run insane amounts of boost. I would say 27-28 psi tapering to 23-24 psi or so.
From what I have read it'll propably be quite close to the both injectors and pump maximum. I can bump up the base 5 psi or so to get 5% more flow but with this pump it might not gain anything to go higher than that.
Searching did not return much information about injectors vs EF2. I know it would be better to have bigger injectors but this is what I have at the moment.

For EF2 results in particular, check post#2. Someone has posted their log. Looks like he was using FIC1050cc on E85 @ 85% duty cycle. Not sure what fuel pump he's on though. You'd probably be real close to that though if I had to guess with your pump and 1000cc.
I have the EF2, but no E85 for me. Its a work in progress.

Thanks! That car seems to be pretty close to my spec so the fuel system might be just enough.
I like my injectors as with gasoline the car starts and idles perfectly. I would say that idle is at least as good as with stock injectors. I could probably switch to Walbro 400 and increase base pressure if I end up with very high duty cycles with E85.

I have E85 in the tank now and I'm getting IDC max 98% in Evoscan, but AFR is ok. 50 psi base pressure, boost 26-27 psi max, tapering to 22 psi. Approximately 32 Fahrenheit outside now.
So it's pretty close but seems to be just enough. Still running gasoline ignition map so this is not final result yet.

I don't know about the Aeromotive 340, but in my experience a hardwired Walbro 255 or a DW301 are good for 500 whp on E85 at 7000 rpm and 26-27 psi boost.
For E85, EV14 injectors are probably good to only about 450 whp at 43 psi base pressure. There are two competing issues for running higher base pressure to get more out of the EV14s. Higher base pressure makes the injectors flow more, but higher base pressure also reduces pump capacity. Upping the base pressure to 50 psi might get you a bit closer to being able to support 500 whp if the additional pressure doesn't kill the flow of the pump. Since you're only at 22 psi at peak rpm, it might work.

Aeromotive Stealth 340 did last bit over 600 miles on E85. It died on track day when the car had been idling for two minutes or so to cool down. It has previously done about 3000-3500 miles on gas. Checked fuel filters and they were not clogged. I will not replace it with another, this experience was enough to convince me to look elsewhere.
I put my old Walbro 255 back but I'm unsure if it can support enough flow. What next, Walbro 400?

I have been testing unmodded Walbro 255. It can't keep up the pressure and car goes slightly to the lean side. So at least in my case the Aeromotive did flow more than Walbro 255 before it died. I also tried higher boost with Aeromotive and if handled that just fine. This is with stock lines, larger than stock fuel filter, HKS rail, HKS fuel pressure regulator and pump DIY hardwire.
I'll mod the relief valve on the Walbro and check if there's any difference.
