I remember the XEDE came out after my ECUtek tuning at TT. So I don't have that paperweight.
And what happened to your tuning by Shiv?

Sorry maybe I'm missing some irony in your post? Your numbers are healthy, the spec for a 9 is 90-145 psi

Most 9's would need rebuilds by now if anybody actually ever listened to WrongSaidFreds drooling replies.

His posts literally go against 15 years of knowledge of evos in the states.

We all know doing the test with the gas pedal down is wrong, though. His problem is probably just his fuel pump.

I was just saying I doubt it is as bad as it looks. 125 is bad, but I think the HKS 274/278 cams made it look worse that it really is. It is a good sign that all compression are about the same. (I'm hopeful that his engine didn't pop on the dyno, but we won't know until we get an update)

I didn't know the IX compression was good to 90 psi (thanks for that), but mine is probably reduced because Vishnu likely adjusted my MIVEC map. I was seeing 140psi from other IXs when I was doing my compression test. I love all the info and knowledge on this site!

Just because it states 90 is lower limit doesn't mean it's good. Yea it will still drive...

Just so people get actual service manual numbers and not some shade tree scribblings at some point in this thread:

Evo 8:
Standard: 163psi
Minimum: 138psi

Evo 9:
Standard: 145psi
Minimum: 92psi

Evo 10:
Standard: 158psi
Minimum: 109psi

Limit between cyl: approx 14psi

Warm engine. Also, factor in your altitude!
