Lots of companies stating "we are going to do this, we are going to do that"... Zeitronix has been logging AFR+Boost+EGT+RPM+TPS+Lambda for years.

Get with the originator... Go Zeitronix.

I am leaning toward the Innovate or Zeitronics. There is also one by NGK that is a little cheaper (does not log).

What I am wondering is do I need to get one that logs or will the upgoming datalogging software suffice? Where would the wideband connect so that that data can be used in the log analysis (I'm referring to using a datalogger on the PC vs. in the wideband setup).

I do want a readout though (gauge or LCD).
I have the innovate LM-1 w/o the gauge. You can get the LM-1 with the Aux. box. or with the RPM converter. The latter is cheaper. You can log 5 different parameters with converter. Currently, I am logging the RPM, AFR, and Boost. I plan on adding an EGT sensor and log Throttle position and knock.

The nice thing about the LM-1 is that you can log WITHOUT a computer. You need a lap top with the Zeitronics to log. So if you do not have a lap top, you cannot use the logging feature.

The LM-1 box has a record button and I have it on a stand on a suction cup in the car. I simply press record when I want to log. Logging with the lap top is a PITA, unless you get a very small one.

I was really excited to see that ECUFlash would be intergrating the LC-1 into their software. I have an LM-1 w/RPM converter & XD-16 gauge in my other car. I have nothing bad to say about the innovative setup what so ever, works awesome. Their logworks software is great and super easy to use and setup. It can be a very powerful tool for tuning.

I'm looking forward to receiving my new LC-1 w/XD-16 gauge in the mail. But I'm really looking forward to using the logging capability of the ECUFlash software. Keep up the great work.

But the logging feature is useless if you do not have a lap top.

I have no clue about the ECUflash. I was simply commenting on the Zeitronix vs. Innovate. I keep my innovate LM-1 in the car and ready to log at the press of a button. The power cord comes for the cig lighter. You cannot do the same thing with the Zeitronix. It is not practical to have a lap top attached to the Zeitronix and ready to log all the time. The LM-1 is much easier to log with.

Do you log with the Zeitronix on a daily basis?

Thats great, but the topic of the thread is using a wideband with ECU Flash. So if your logging with ECUFLASH it should be understood a lap top is being used. Just my 2 cents

All this is a moot point. ECUflash already said in this thread that they are integrating Innovate products in their software. So getting an LM-1/LC-1 is a no brainer. Or you can get the Zeitronix and try to integrate it with the ECUflash on your own. Good luck.

I have Zeitronix and i love it.

I bought the ZT2 kit for 280
MAP sensor for 110
Vishnu Knock buffer for 110
(hooked up the knock buffer to the user input)

And for 500$, I can log

Lamba
A/F ratio
TPS
RPM
Boost
and....
Real knock.
All at 74 sample per peramiter per. sec

No other system can give you that much loggin power for the price.

You can NOT log knock with any Innovate product. Hooking up the stock knock sensor just to a 0-5v input wont log anything and probably will load down you knock sensor, which is dangerous.
