If I saw a better product out there for the money, that is what I would recommend because that is how we do things.

The point is that a laptop is needed to reflash ECUflash.

The same laptop will be used to datalog.

When the car is tuned, you do not need the laptop for the ECUflash any longer, right?

When the car is tuned, you do not need the laptop for zeitronix logging either because your tune does not change on its own.

Zeitronix has live display of EGT, AFR, Boost on the LCD with peak hold boost and EGT buttons. There is no need to datalog, unless you are tuned on the edge of maximum performance and want to be able to make some additional logs while racing.
How much is it? May pick one up from you.

They start out at $275 and have options from there. With a laptop, for $275 you can tune based on AFR, Lambda, RPM, TPS and it has a user input1 for an additional voltage input. All logs are 74 samples/second per parameter.

Jay, send me a PM and let me know what features you are interested in and I will price it according to your specific options chosen.

Thanks!

That is against evolutionm.net policy and borderline "shady" since YOU are an Innovate, PLX and FJO dealer for Titan/Evostore. Why you post under two screen names is beyond me.
Relax. That's what I am trying to do - take time off from work and not have to try and sell something in every post. For the record, Titan/EvoStore has sold 5 of the major widebands - MoTec, Innovate, FJO, AEM, and *gasp* Zeitronix. As I stated earlier, all have their pros and cons.

Maybe you need to take some time off to relax and let the other people at TTP-E cover things for a while.

Excuse us if we do not have the patience for Vendor Gamesmanship which again is against evom policy. I suggest you fairly post under the screen name representing who you are employed by so there is no concern over the integrity of your advice.

A list of all authorized Zeitronix Dealers is available at the bottom of this page:

You have an mild reading comprehension deficiency.

"With a laptop" in its context means "Already having a laptop to use"

Of course, the thread is "wideband for ECUFlash" and again since you NEED a laptop to reflash the ECU using ECUflash (whether owned or borrowed), the same laptop can easily connect to your computer to both reflash AND log all 6 parameters at 74 samples per second each.

You added the "comma" after the fact. Notice, that in the original quote that I quoted in my response there was no COMMA after the sentence "with a lap top." Then you came back to EDIT your post and pretend that I have a reading comprehension.

You are trying to DECIEVE and play games. You are losing your credibility real fast. Be a man and admit that you missed placing a comma when you first posted. Shame on you!!!

Damn, I knew what he meant. Its not that hard.

I doubt TTP will ever lose credibility.

Also, we all know, you and your LM-1 are the **** and us zeitronix users are stupid because we need a laptop.

You still have a vested interest in selling them and you are being less than honest by saying that the Innovate unit is crap. Both units are great and both units have downsides. But you are too baised to notice the shortcomings of the Zeitronix.

I will list the shortcomings for both.

1. Innovate more expensive than the Zeitronix.
2. Innovate you must pay extra to get the universal gauge display.
3. Zeitronix does not log w/o a lap top. This can be a PITA when you get a chance to log and you do not have a lap top handy.
4. Innovate has far superior customer service and they have forums where Klaus responds to questions from the members.
5. Innovate has a way better software than the Zeitronix. LogWorks is much much better than the software for Zeitronix.
6. Zeitronix has a far higher sampling rate than Innovate.

That is a balanced assessment of BOTH units. All you do is trash Innovate simply to sell a couple of Zeitronix units. You are very transparent and your sole interest is to make a buck.

This is very simple, folks.

The Zeitronix represents a great value and is a great product. There are other widebands out there that many people are happy with as well. Pick one based on your personal preferences - i.e. with or without a laptop, with or without a gauge-type display, with or without NTK sensor support, etc. Buy it from who ever you want based - again - on personal preferences.

This doesn't have to digress into a "Product A vs Product B" or a "Poster X vs Poster Y" argument. Frankly, there need not be any sort of argument at all.

[edit]Ideally, the posts would only be about the technical capabilities of the various widebands as they relate to ECU Flash. I apologize for being guilty of not following that.[/edit]

TTP has a vested interest. He is a Zeitronix dealer. He makes money by selling units. So he goes around trashing Innovate and calling it crap in order tomake a sale. That is the way you lose credibility. I am not a vendor. I am just a user. As I said before, I would get the Zeitronix if the unit had its own logger independent of a lap top. I even considered selling my Innovate and getting a Zeitronix until I found out about the logging. I never called anyone stupid. I simply said it is a PITA to log daily with a lap top in the car.

I am an Innovate Dealer also genious.

For those that like the blingity LM-1+XD-16 I will sell what the customer "wants" but will "advise" them of what will work most effectively for them. Whether their choice aligns with my recommendation or not does not affect sales one bit.

Yes, we should all trust the newbie with zero trader feedback. Thank you for your valuable input.

Oh yeah, just to let you know, you can log on a Zeitronix using a PDA. PDAs are very cheap and very small, so you can stop *****in bout the laptop.

So, I guess I'll be seeing you Innovate stuff in the F/S forum huh.

Does it work with a Garmin Ique 3600 PDA? That is the PDA that I have. If not, then I am not getting another PDA.

Edit: I just looked and the Ique 3600 is not compatible with the ZT2. Too bad for me. I really liked the digital display of the Zeitronix.

I looked on your website under "wideband O2 and Meters" and there is no mention of Innovate.

Please point me to the link on your web site where you list the Innovate products.
