Which Wideband For EcuFlash?

I need to get a wideband O2 before I start tuning. Which one do you guys like?

I am leaning toward the Innovate or Zeitronics. There is also one by NGK that is a little cheaper (does not log).

What I am wondering is do I need to get one that logs or will the upgoming datalogging software suffice? Where would the wideband connect so that that data can be used in the log analysis (I'm referring to using a datalogger on the PC vs. in the wideband setup).

I do want a readout though (gauge or LCD).

PLX makes great widebands.....I had one for my turbo crx, had digital display on the control box and I had the gauge also. I had mine hooked up to log through uberdata which is what I used for my tuning.....Unsure of how you can make it work with future loggers of the evo since they arent released yet? They also make units that log egt, afr,etc but they are more pricey?

I have an LC-1, which I'm hoping will be able to be logged by the logging software once it's created

ANY Quality setup will be fine.. What you want to find is something that logs as much data as possible if you have sensors hooked up for it.. At a minimum the least expensive setups log the AFR and RPM.. Other units have additional inputs for Map, EGT, or general purpose inputs..

I use the Tech Edge WBO2 because I like building stuff and supporting others who do. I will be adding that to the logging software when it emerges from vapor-land...

Where did you guys get your tech edge? I like to build stuff too--almost to a fault according to my wife...

Will the wideband integrate with the other engine parameters in the datalogging software that is in the works?

I would ideally like to have as many engine parameters in one data logging application rather than having the OBDII stuff and then a wideband that does it's thing seperately.

If the source for the software is easily accessible, I'll contribute routines for the TurboXS Tuner Pro and any other WBO2 sensor I can get my hands on..

I have an LM-1 w/RPM converter on another car and I plan on staying with the Innovative products with the EVO. With the LM-1/LC-1 there is an output channel that converts the WBO2 reading to a 0-1v signal. I assume all other widebands operate on that voltage? If so then intragration should be simple... I hope.

I have an Innovate LC-1 and LM-1 and I'm thinking of getting either the LMA-3 or DL-32 for logging.

In the near future we will be integrating with Innovate to use there wideband O2 kits to work with our software for data logging against RPM, Boost, A/F, Throttle and more. If you are going to buy a kit I would suggest the stand alone gauge kit which includes the LC-1 Wideband Controller. For more information please PM me.
