I plan on using washer fluid (50/50 mix) exclusively so you know my answer.. you can run better gas and your 50/50 mix.. typically you can run even more timing.. I don't think running any leaner will get you much more power though, just end up removing a margin of safety you get if the alky kit shuts off.

Will the "dye" in washer fluid not cause a problem? Or do you plan to use a clear washer fluid?

I will give either 100 or 112 + 50/50 a try either this week or next week

Holy **** batman. After comparing to a few other timing tables and the timing from the stock rom I've done some adjusting at lower loads (100-180 mainly). For some reason or another my values were WAY lower than stock.

I think I may have taken a lot of lower load values down up to 5 digits when I first started learning.. and never put them back Anyhow my tq is back and the car breaks loose a lot easier

This stuff is getting so involved I can't really find time to sit down and post up something usefull.. so I'll continue to babble on this thread

BTW 50/50 alky/water + 100/93 mix = much fun. As soon as I can get some decent weather at the track we'll see how fun. The car is definately making damn good power. The sunroof cover slides open when I go WOT now (really wish I didnt have the sunroof)

I have this stuff thats yellow in color.. I doubt the dye makes any difference or hurts anything.. Washer fluid typically is just water/methanol/detergent/dye and the detergents in it are no different than the type of stuff in gasoline already. Its just more widely available...

I don't use pure methanol because up to 30% of it can evaporate in a few hot days, I don't use pure water because it will freeze on a cold day..

I do use washer fluid because you can usually get it when you fill up your car at a gas station, so its convenience..

Tuning for it is the same as tuning a 50/50 mix water/meth...

It also keeps me from overdoing things with my tune since the meth controllers or pumps from everyone I have seen, have a pretty high failure rate,

I have even experimented with model airplane fuel which is methanol/castor oil/10-20% nitromethane.. Don't do it.. I ran my best times with it, but went severely lean when it kicked in, you need to run your tunes intentionally richer to compensate for it..
