Okay... then what is the hack to disable the heater circuit and not scram the fuel trims?

there is a simulated rear O2 that MRFRED made. iirc I am using it and I do have usable 02 readings.
I think...

Exactly. I don't even have a rear O2 in my possession. No CEL. NO fuel trims.

Am I expected to turn the senor back on via checkbox in the ROM and drive around with a CEL?

Who has their sensor turned off but still has fuel trims. Can you post the code you used to turn the sensor off?

i leave mine on... and just use the rear O2 simulator option and have the CEL turned off for the no cat code it throws.

EVIL_EVO: See this thread for the correct way to disable the rear O2 heater CEL. See this thread for passing OBD-II (emissions) inspections.

I don't have a rear O2 sensor physically installed in the car (and don't have a cat, either), don't throw any codes, and have passed emissions testing here in Illinois with those two patches along with the rear O2 simulation code that comes along with tephra's ROM.

Ok new trims are 3.8 for low and -2.8 for mid. Every time I change latency value seems to have a strong effect on mid.Scaled at 1008. Are the values considered Scaled MrFred? Think it's the closest I've gotten after a week. I can't tell you enough how I appreciated you help sir! Thank You!

Glad I could be of help. You're trims are very pretty good in most people's book. I'd probably fiddle a bit more myself. Latency should have some effect on the mid trim when the scaling is right on. Its just that it should affect the low more than the mid. If you are seeing a consistently greater effect on mid with a latency change, then you might want to make sure that you don't have the low and mid trims mixed up.

Idles pretty good when in closed loop but after I shut if off and restart the wideband readings are super lean. Know of any cause?

Was reading somewhere about pulling pull resistor box. Is that something that needs to be done when installing bigger injectors?

Removing the resistor box is only for people who have installed high impedance injectors (pretty much only Bosch).

If it warm starts up and idles fine, I wouldn't worry about an initial lean reading. What wideband are you using?

AEM UEGO. It doesn't warm up start fine. It's always seems to run lean on intial start up, no matter what.
