need help with ecuflash!!

hello, i need help beginning tuning my evo 8 and so so far i have ecuflash on my computer, what else do i need, i know a cable, is a wideband recommendded?? also, do i get the roms(roms are like maps correct?) online on evom bcuz if i get more mods or for the ones i have already like 272 cams i/e or whatever i get, do i have to find them online, and is it recommended to get a logger and if yes which one is good and easy for me to use ... your help would really be appreciated thank you

tunning your car yourself isnt something you are going to want to do you can seriously ruin your motor that way. Save yourself the trouble and get it tuned by a professional.

if you haven't tuned yourself ...i would get to deep into it without proper safety precautions.
wideband is a great help...
having someone who has tuned using flash before...like limp said...u could do some serious damage to your baby. Not for car rookies

yeh i know its dangerous, but i want to learn how cuz i wanna be able to tune my car in the future, so im just askin what programs i need for example to tune and log the car, does ecu flash tune and log or only tune??

I highly suggest checking out www.jestrtuning.com at least for your initial tune. The M1 flash is most likely what you are after.

As far as the ECUflash is concerned it simply allows you to read and write to the OEM ROM. EVOscan and Mistulogger (which is free, thanks to Malibujack) are loggers.
