I would like to use an AEM 5 bar to log boost in evo scan, and to have direct boost control. I was wondering if this was possible, and if so would someone be willing to point me in the right direction on how to do it?

I just did this today. (I'm a total NOOB so far when it comes to tuning).

I want to say thanks to MRFRED for all the hard work he has put into the Evo community. The How to is simple and very easy to follow. I did forget to set the ECU Periphery4 parameter and was only getting a 1.xxx reading at first

Does anybody have the part number for the Evo X/JDM MAP sensor? Surprisingly it's not easy to find in a search.

Hmmm, correct me if I'm wrong but the JDM EVO's already have this sensor from the factory, so the ECU should already support it with no fandangling needed.

The USDM's don't come with the 3 bar map sensor though.

Correct for JDM Evo IX. All other JDM Evos, you'll need to run wires from the ECU and use some kind of universal MAP sensor like the GM or the OMNI universal. No ECU mods are needed.

I've written a patch to allow logging boost with that ROM. You'll need the patch and a JDM 3-bar MAP sensor. PM me with your email address.
