I have have an 03 evo 8 with rom 015 and I followed the instructions in post #1. When I log boost it is just reading 37.xx psi all the time without ever changing. I can't figure out what I did wrong. BTW, I am using an Omni 4 bar map sensor.

I'm not sure if you've had your question answered yet, but I found the answer here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...ml#post7387662. It seems you may have an older version of the sensor that needs the pins switched.

Please help! After installing the omni 4 bar and implementing the proper changes found here and at the omnipower 4 bar settings thread, I have found that I'm getting a bad lean condition after boosting then adjusting the throttle back slightly, but still boosting. I loose power, it stumbles for a second, then the afr goes back to normal, all while having the throttle in the previous adjusted position. Can anyone help?

Unhappy

Question to Mr Fred. I have read this entire post.

My respect for all his knowledge and dedication.

I Have an JDM Evo VI. I understand any stock Evo VI does not have a MAP or MDP sensor.

Can I install a 3 bar MAP and connect on a specific ECU connector? and boost log?

Case ID: MD360216
Internal ID: 22580006

I hope you can help me.

Thanks.

It looks like its possible. ECU pin #73 on your ECU should be a 0-5 V ADC input. You'll also need to splice into 5 V power and signal ground from the wiring harness. I'd need to disassemble your ROM to determine the RAM address that receives the signal. It would probably take me 5 minutes, so PM me to trade email addresses.

Hi, I am using the 96530006 rom with SD patch and the 3bar evo x map sensor but when logging using evoscanver 2.6 it reads half of what my AEM boost guage is reading at idle. Anyone knows why?

I'm wondering if someone can help me out with my issue. I'm a total noob to ecoflash so far so I'm taking baby steps.

When I'm adding the MAP Scaling like instructed for ROM 88590015:
0.51
0.90
1.29
1.68 i get 1.69
2.07 i get 2.08
2.46 i get 2.45
2.85 i get 2.84
3.24
3.63

Even though I type in the value 1.68 it becomes 1.69

Verifies this:

inHg NO= Psi

inHg (inches of Mercury) is typically used for vacuum
inHg (pulgadas de mercurio)

P (psi) = 0,491130 * P (inHg)

P(inHg) = 2,03602 * P (psi)
