let me know what to change and I'll be more than happy to be the test mule...I'll be putting race gas in the car soon and want to crank the boost way up so it's important that I have good control over the fueling

This doesn't help but something I have been noticing is that you keep saying load is in kpa when it isn't.

If you where running 380kpa you would be running approx 40psi

If any high torque 8 or 9 owners can test and report back, that will help!
Let me double check what i was seeing but I was getting 399 for more than one cell. I have run into reporting errors with EvoScan so its possible that it was 380 and then spiked with an error.

My data is possibly flawed.

Thanks, if I know that the 9 doesn't work then I can go back to my own ECU disassembly which I know best of all. If the 9 does work and the 8 doesn't I need to hunt for different stuff.

Not yet, I havent had a chance to play with it again. I have to rescale the injectors when I do it and I foolishly didnt save the last map. Between that and the recent blizzard up here in the NW I have been kind of stuck (cant wait till we get a dyno).

understandable JB... jcsbanks, any chance of pressing on with the evo 8 troubleshooting in light of this? I really don't want to put this AEM EMS in that I have sitting here if I don't absolutely have to

I'm presently trying to work through the huge volume of code that deals with the MAF to fully understand all the implications before converting to speed density. If there is another limiter in there I should find it in this process, but maybe not quite as quickly as you need. I really need to know if the IX is sorted before I can make any sense on the VIII. I can't hit this sort of load on my IX or any IX I have access to to find out if the limit is fixed.

OK, I may be missing something simple here, but how are you'll getting around the 319 load fuel cut limit?

ok, I'll press on with the 380 clip and just tune around the issue for now. I'll probably get some race gas for next weekend and see how it behaves

thanks very much for your efforts...further blurring the line between the stock ecu and stand alone is good stuff
