questions about tuning with evoscan and ECUflash

i am going to the dyno tomorrow to tune, and i have a few question.

im logging with evo scan.

how do i know what PSI (boost) im at? and how do i convert it to the loads on the fuel and timing maps of ECuflash?

i know 100 is no vacume and no boost , but where is 10 psi 15 psi and 20 psi?

more questions to come as we continue to experiment, and get ready for tomorrow.

Thank you,

There is NO direct correlation between boost pressure and 'load'. The only way to determine boost vs. load is to log boost pressure also. Simpliest route is probably to use a JDM MAP sensor. Then I think you have to change a little bit of the code in evoscan to log it.

If you want to do it ultra ghetto style, video tape the boost gauge and tach

+1 on either boost gauge or JDM MAP .

some are not always spot on and offer not logging capability

However, you are going to a dyno, any respectable dyno with have wb readout as well as a map sensor to log boost

I'm not sure if you should be wasting your time and money on a dyno if you are still asking this questions however....

ok, but how do i translate that boost to the loads to adjust my maps with ECUflash?
