HOW TO - Control boost using ECUFLash and 3 port GM boost solenoid
Yes, you need to use boost adder when the desired PSI table doesn't go high enough. I have my boost adder table set to atmospheric pressure + 10 for this exact reason. Increasing the boost adder by a nice round number like 10 also makes it easy to set my desired PSI table. (whatever "real" boost i want, i take away 10, and that's what I enter in the desired PSI table).
That helps a lot, thank you.
Now with the Desired PSI map, the value limit that i can enter is 24.7 so if i want a little more i would be fine just adding that to the ADDER correct? Its normally atmosphere pressure but does not HAVE to be, yes? So 29 ADDER and 10.5 desired would get the job done?

Right click on the table in ecuflash.
For the first scaling (on top) make sure you selected PSIa8 OMNI4barMAP.
By default this was Kavlico and this is wrong

Make the same thing for the Boost Adder table (This one with the PSIa16 OMNI4barMAP)
BDEpsi now max out at 30.1PSI .
Now you when you'll set the values you'll set the real values. Boost should be on target when tuned

Today I replaced my stock boost solenoid with the Grimmspeed 3 port ebcs. after setting my WGDC to 50 across the board, I took it out for a test drive. Everything seems to be working fine other than the fact that I'm hitting only a max of 7psi. Previously I was hitting a max of 9psi on the stock solenoid, which lead me to think that it was dead.
I've zeroed out the Boost Error correction, and have increased the WGDC to 70, still with nothing over 7psi...
I'm 99% sure I hooked up all the vacuum lines correctly, as per their diagram so I imagine my problem doesn't stem from that. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any one have any ideas. I also made this post in the ecuflash forums, just trying to cover the most resources.
thanks

^ You most likely have a mechanical problem.
On the stock solenoid you should have hit 16-19. Even on just the stock wastegate you should hit 11-13.
You may have a blown turbo or major exhaust leak or something.

I seem to have a V7 ROM that I haven't seen anyone else use. I'm trying to set up my GM 3 port and nothing I see here matches. I'm hitting 28.5psi as it sits and I'd like to get it to 27ish for now.
Here's what mine shows:

Either way - what is shown on your screen shots might not actually be in the ROM. It might just be in the XML.
So the hallman mbc does not hold boost like the gm and the grimmspeed does? My hallman mbc is suppose to be at 20psi, but sometimes it spike up to 27-28psi and sometime tapper down to 13-14psi. Can someone tell me what is going on?
The variance is peak boost is due to differences in weather. The tappering is part of the nature of an MBC.
I thought I had this done right but I pulled the Evo out for the first time this winter to find it over boosting 5-6psi higher then intended. I need to.upload some pictures so someone can point out what I'm doing wrong ecouse I'm obviously missing something.
Warm weather I was running 25psi and now its 30psi. The correction should be pulling it back if it goes over but it doesn't seem to be. Not to mention I log a permanent -19 correction factor no mater what I do. Everything else seems to work correctly with the exception of the under or over boost correction.
I'll get some pics tomorrow morning when I get come and maybe someone can point out what I'm missing.

Also you may have other setup/logging issues.
I forgot to mention that i pulled the car out of the garage to re-tune it for the switch to e85. So at a closer glance its not that its cold, im just spooling up faster and need to move my tapper a little earlyer. Im still not getting any sort of logged or visible boost limit correction so maybe you can take a look anyways.
Heres a pic of what i got going on, let me know what you think.

And its the load error that constantly reads -20. During WOT is may blink -16 and -17 maybe once per pull. And even when I'm over boosting im not seeing any correction. The desired boost load is 254 and I'm hitting 298 with 32psi so shouldn't it be cutting back? Im logging no correction and i assume its because im missing something if someone can point it out.
