Ecuflash

Just installed Ecuflash. I have 2 Evo 9s one stock the other modified, the stock Evo
downloaded no problem, the other has been tuned prior and will not download and gives an error message -- No Codes Read. Could my ECU be locked by the previous tuner? If so, what do I do to unlock it, or is there anything else I can do? I would appreciate any advise you could lend me. Thank you in advance.
