PATCH: NLTS + Valet + KnockCEL

but jake ( evil_eagle) sent me his xml file and i repalced mine so its all good now
Yeah you need the new ROM that Tephra posts up, thats what have the patch embedded in it. If you've done enough of them, it only takes maybe 5 minutes to do it. When I was testing some patches for Teph, I got a new version every day for a week. I got REALLY fast at them in no time.
He probably already has all of his XML files edited though, that way it is in fact a simple copy and paste ordeal.

Can I not patch my current ROM so that it will work with the XML?
or I guess if someone wants to tell me how to disable the knock sensor by hex then that would work too

96420008 confirmed working on my late model 04 that came with the same rom.
So far I only thoroughly tested the NLTS, but i will respond back after I test the other options out so you can green light it for others. My specific car would not run on any other rom.

Apologies for bringing back an older thread, but I have a question. I use this patch and I would like to add the 2-stage knock light capability. I'm not a software guy. Intuitively, it seems like the latter lines of code need to replace the former:

IMHO the 2stage kock light isnt a great feature. I dont like having to look and figure out if it slow or fast flashing before letting off. On V5.1 and V7 I usually set the slow knock light to a number you'll never see (ie 30), then I set the fast knock light to the knock sum I desire.
You have to use V5.1 or V7 to use the 2 stage knock light. Its the only way.
