if you have NLTS activated and if you try and hammer through the gears then it will engage when you shift, so whenever you wanted to shift without using the NLTS technique, the rev limit for the NLTS would come into play, making the car feel like it was trying to catch up, then disengage and so on.

has the rom been updated since October? If not, I've encountered a strange 'hiccup'...
Last weekend me and a couple buddies were headed out of town, I'd just reflashed from a standard 0008 rom back to the tephra rom (ran into p0300 issues, simplified everything, turned out to be a corrupt flash on my xede), car ran great, went to make some partial throttle fuel changes (13.5:1 at 70mph will kill ya ) and the car started cutting up. I thought initially something had gotten hung up either in the tps or the clutch switch as it acted like it was going into nlts, so I pulled over and checked all of the plugs & connectors, then re-flashed the map prior to the changes I made, just to try and get back to a known good. Problem seemed to get worse, at one point between exits it dropped power completely in 5th gear & surged in 4th (its worth noting that the afr's at this point were well safe & this was at cruise not WOT).
At the same time evoscan was acting erratically as well, disconnecting, reconnecting frequently and reading back values very slowly. I thought maybe my laptop was doing something wierd with the cable hooked up, so we unplugged the cable, put in the creader, problem persisted. Re-flashed an older modded rom file (that also worked great in the past) problem wouldn't go away.
What finally fixed it was a 20 minute stop at the next exit down, I unplugged everything from the ecu and let it sit for a few minutes, then reflashed the non-modded rom, car immediately went back to running correctly.

Any thoughts? I was thinking it possibly got a bad flash & just wasn't clearing it out for some reason despite wiping and reloading the rom the first time, there were no errors reported from ecu flash & I think I have some of the logs from evoscan when it was going down (they're on my laptop at home, if you'd like to look at them I'll be glad to email them over).
Just a heads up. I really enjoy the NLTS, I might start playing around with it again friday after work & try to do some more quantitative troubleshooting.

I am having problems with 88590013. I cannot for the life of me to get the extra tables to show up. I have tried it on a version 15 and it works perfectly. It has the same problem trying to implement 2 byte load. I have removed and delted all ecuflash files, anr reinstalled several times. I have it in developer.. etc I did notice in the tutorial that there is a end of table prompt that is not there if you simply paste what your suppose to paste after boost enhancement table. My head is spinning. I knew I should have never dropped my san classes!

Tephra, i am making a map for my buddy. He currently has 96420007, i am going to move him to 96420008 since it is more supported. I see it is "untested" for this patch, should i have any concern it wont work? I wouldn't mind testing it but it isnt my car so i was just curious of the risk.

Hey I am having problems getting a version 88590013 IX rom working with the patch. I have it working on version 15 roms. Other people have said there version 13 patch works. I have uninstaled ecu flash and deleted all directories etc multiple times. This was using ecuflash v1.34. When I upgraded to 1.35 I thought I had it working. The mod tables showed up, but then the boost enhancement tables were grayed out. I did not know if lean spool was already removed on the rom you provide to copy everything over to, is the reason I was even looking there. Anyway I reinstalled ecuflash to make sure I started from a fresh romnd now it is not working. The weird part is once I accidentally modded the xml files for the wrong version (88580013 instead of 88590013) and opened the rom im trying to work with and the mod tables showed up. I am clueless at this moment. I really wanted to get nlts to work this past friday too. My friend was knocking on the door of 11s that night! lol Thanks for any help And sorry I have searched on this multiple times, and even used someones complete xml file and it still has not worked
