since its been 2 years, do we still need to replace the data.xml for Injector Scaling in EvoScan, or did evoscan update their database after 2 years?

How long ago was this? According to openecu they added support for the evo 5/6 reflashing Jan of this year and added support for something else for those cars in June of this year so maybe it could not be done when you originally toook it there but looks like you should be good now

lancer1.6, you need to open your ecu and check the processor chip number.
If it reads 7202 then it can be reflashed with an openport2 cable.
The 7203 chip can not currently be reflashed, though we live in hope!

Greetings,

I currently reside over sea's and Need help tuning a friends Evo 7. I have used OpenECU on Evo 8's and 9's and 10's in the U.S. but I have tried over and over and I simply can not connect to their ECU's. I have tested EVO 7 and 9 with same result. using ECU Flash version 1.42

the vehicles here in are mostly JDM. does anyone have a solution?

Thank You!
