Thanks bigRic...but my question resides in actually SEEING the program/calculator open. I have Excel 2002 (yes, a little outdated ) and I cannot get it to open period. Once opened I understand how to work it..

i updated the Zip file with an older version of the file good for office 97-03.... You guys need to get in tune with the torrent sites ... 07 is free if you know where to look.

bro very good write up, well written, i enjoyed reading it.

Very true about 9's not liking timing @ all @ peak tq LOL

i think a someone with decent knowledge of cars can tune there own car with this write up.

i think the timing the car likes depends on the tuner....

johnbradley tuned my car via email before i did my cam swap and added meth and wow.... MIDGETSPEC FTW .... he had me running 6* to 8* at peak running 24 psi ...... no knock

Whatever .02 he has to add to this thread, especially about the MIVEC will be helpful as well

I hope they sticky this and many others. I am going to post a thread with threads that I think MUST be stickied and see if the moderators do it. Others can add important threads that can be stikied to my thread.

well the guys car I tuned was for 29-30 psi with a nice afr (11.8 tapering to 11.3ish), you can see why I elected to keep timing low there no knock as well there are other variable to take in account.

there is more to that story for that car but I dont want to get off topic
