Is there anyway that the ICS unlucky (96940011) can get V4 of the original tephra mods without the altmap changes?

the Valet Mape Flash time controls how long to flash the CEL when Valet is turned on/off - some ppl didn't like the endless flashing

Evoryder - since you are the first person can you do as much testing as you can without driving the car hard? I don't want to explode someones car

POO I have no ICS button. How bout a patch to use the acd switch? Push it and it changes the ACD, hold it down and it swaps maps?

Im sure I could scrounge up more change from my couch for this mod!

And maybe you could make the lights flash in order going up or down or something to indicate an alternate map! Oh the possibilities!

I am not sure if the ACD button interfaces with the ECU. I thought the ACD had a separate control module. Either way i think it would be safer to use something like the fog light switch or even the rear defroster button. I dont think installing a button would be too incredibly difficult either.

No luck on the flash...same as before on your 2nd knock patch. The car won't start.

I am definitely down with NOT blowing up my car

So tephra, I can basically do the same thing as I have now with this ICS (and all the other goodies) if I get a solenoid that does the opposite, right ?

I just recently decided to try the last version of the patch and I do have the 0008 ECU. I'll try this one out after I finish tweaking my current maps. I'm mostly interested in the 2-stage flashing CEL on knock and load threshold for NLTS though, but I guess having an alternate map won't hurt (lol). I'm not really looking forward to copying all my maps over though.

Thanks for all your hard work tephra.

Mrfred is working on a full pinout for the SDM IX ECU, so maybe that will help locate an available pin to use for switching on the 13/14/15 IX ECUs. I'm looking forward to it.

Any thoughts on the non ICS part of V4 for the 96940011 map?
