PATCH: KNOCKCEL+NLTS+AltMap (V4)
pretty much instant.
Yes that was something I was talking to one of the other guys about.
V5 or V6 will also bring in multiple boost control, and for the meth users out there (druggies?? :P) we are looking at wiring in some failsafe stuff, not sure how/what yet thou !!!
anyways let me get this problem fixed and a few more ROMID's up and then we can talk about V5 and beyond!

Any Idea's other than a switch of how you might switch maps on non ICS cars?

Well I was going to use the A/C button - but its not momentary
A possibility is :
* Car Off
* Ign ON
* Clutch IN
* Use and HOLD TPS to select map
* Clutch Out.
However that kind of pedal dance will get frustrating!
I guess if everyone is happy to wire in a momentary button then that could be the solution! However I suspect this wont be the case, and anyways utilising stock hardware is so much nicer
If the ACD switch was wired into the ECU then that would be perfect - but I'm 95% its not

However, the ACD ECU pin 36 is wired directly into the main ECU pin 79 and indirectly into pin 78. I'm no expert at reading these things, but maybe there is something that we can do with pin 79? Here are the two pages that I am referring to:

Tephra, just trying to clarify a few things:
Is this only true if "Flash ICS on ALT MAP" is enabled? If not what does that do?
"Rev Limit Switching" is valet mode right?
If the ALT MAP is active and the IGN is turned off, will it always retain this value, or only if "Restore ICS State on IGN" is enabled?
All the times are in milliseconds right? A setting of 10 in "Alternate Map Time to Activate" would be equal to a 100th of a second? Meaning that a quick push of the button would be enough to switch the map? (I wouldn't do this, just wondering)

"Flash ICS on Altmap" does exactly that - if you are currently running your AltMap's then having this variable set to 1 flashes the ICS Lamp, 0 does not flash it.
Some ppl may find the flashing annoying! I might get rid of this option as I think you definitely need the flashing
"Rev Limit switching" should be "Enable Valet Mode"
"Restore ICS State" is independant of AltMaps, ie if you have "Restore ICS state = 0" then Altmaps will come back to whatever you left them at before.
milliseconds
yes!
Also holding down the button (TPS or Auto ICS) doesn't cycle between ON and OFF anymore - you need discreet press'n'holds.
