WORKS LIKE A CHARM!! v4.6 FTMFW!! You the man, dave. Since my cams make a smooth idle a pain I just set my idle for 2000rpm to get a solid timing mark to show the maps switching. Alt Map was set to 27* and the standard map was set to 32*. I set the map switching time to 10mS as well. Alt map light worked fine too BTW. CLICK HERE for the evoscan .crv file. I added a screen shot of the log too.

ok cool.

Now I will email you v4.7 with the ICS switching back included.

10ms switch time is only relavent to ICS switching, ADC0F switching is instant - also has no thresholds (load) either...

I will probably rename some of the XML thingies to make it a bit clearer!

Do what you want man, I'm just glad we got it to work at all

Its midnight here so I'll have the new rom all tested out in about 19 hours (after sleeping and working, lol). Maybe less if I test it during my work breaks, lol.

no worries... at least we got it working finally.

as I said in the email I want to add some sort of debounce so that if the ADC0F input is dodgey (wiring or methbox) it doesn't sit there swapping maps.

something like:
* when swapped to standard maps by way of ADC0F then we start a countdown
* we wont swap to altmaps while this countdown is active

or do you guys think this is overkill? ie just leave it how it is now?

Cheers
D.

Unless there is a good reason to want to rapidly switch between maps, seems like a good idea to have the debounce.

I agree. I loaded v4.7 in ecuflash and I'll try to test it in about 6 hours if I have time. Worst case will be 9 hours. So this ICS setup allows me to change maps with the ICS switch AND the ADC input?

It didn't switch maps via the ICS switch. It just did the normal ICS stuff. Is there something I'm supposed to change in the settings to have it be able to switch maps??

nevermind, it works just fine. Figured it out. Figured out that you needed to hold down the ICS button for the set amount of time in the ecuflash table.

Does anyone know if the IX ecu has pinout for the ICS lamp for us to wire a light in for us NON-ICS users?

Yes, it does. It was mentioned earlier. Both the ICS switching power and the relay are available as unused pins. However, tephra would need to find the software control for the relay in the ROM code. It should be doable, but since I'm not writing this patch, I'll leave that call up to him.
