I'm 99.9% sure that your ECU will use the same pins as mine does. We'll see soon enough. I should have enough of my tutorial done before you receive them so you can just follow it when you install yours.
God I hope so, as much as I like the new evo X I really hope you get a VIII or a IX for our sake,lol. We're selfish and we're proud of it! haha
Hey dave, say someone wanted to use the ICS switch (or wire in a momentary switch and LED light on the IX's) to do the manual map switching and wanted to use the ADC input to monitor and datalog a 5 volt sensor(i.e; an alcohol injection flow sensor). Basically, can you log with the ADC input without triggerig the map switching? If you set the ADC0F switching point higher than 255, that should work right?

um if they wanted to use the ADC for something other than switching maps then I would need to disable that section of code - easy just need to bring in a new "mods flag"

I'm going to be finishing my tutorial with pics and possibly video tomorrow afternoon. MrFred will be getting his set of ECU pins I sent him real soon so we'll be able to add the IX info/pics to the tutorial as well. The ALT MAP switching and Evoscan ADC logging has been working just fine for me without any hiccups so far
