I can understand when using 2-byte load to help pinpoint load cells in the ignition table, but when is 2-byte rpm and airflow used?

2-byte RPM can be useful for HP/TQ calculations, but isn't critical to getting a good estimate. 2-byte airflow is another measure of power because power generally scales with airflow. I don't think I've ever logged 2-byte rpm, but I have logged 2-byte airflow a few times.

Hi Jack,

Just bumping this again, since it looks like the 2-byte airflow for 96530006 didn't make it into the first post.

Ive been out of the loop with ecuflash (my car was in storage since oct) I started reading up on 2 byte last night. I got lost right at the end. If I have to put this code in

2byte RPM
MUT 02 = 8962
MUT 03 = 8963

Do I go to "0" on the Y axis and "2" on the X axis and just enter 8962?
Then go to "0" on the Y axis and "3" on the X axis and enter 8963?

I have all my codes for my rom id and have my mut table showing up, but dont wanna make a mistake entering in the info.

Thanks in advance.

So how would one interpret the relationship between 2-byte airflow and power made?
