When using the GM boost solenoid or the stock solenoid with a higher pressure wastegate actuator, you will want to raise the upper RPM to something like 8000.

The reason for this is the above usually allows the WGDC values to be less than 100% up top. If you don't move the deactivate higher then the WGDC will jump to 100% at the stock RPM.

Example:

 

I don't see that behaviour on mine

I see it start interpolating between my max (75%) at 100%.

ie at 7400rpm the WGDC is 79%

But yes its probably a good thing todo anyways

 

I've seen it on every Evo that comes through.

Rob, the request to dave is to allow the doctor V.5 on our ROMID, it no different to tephra releasing the patch for anyother ROMID except that by doing this we get to push something else that is very big forward another stage. for dave it's the same job as on any other romid.

just want to update finally got my car back from the dealer last night. 94170014 works perfect coming from a 94170008 ID. I'm still able to log everything like before even all my 2byte mods (rpm, airflow, load) WOOT WOOT. donation coming your way tephra.

The only problem I had was this morning driving to work, mind you I'm in the military and have to be to PT by 6 so yeah it was early while driving. I forgot all about the valet mode retore (3500 limit), went to go pass a car and hit by forehead on the steering wheel LOL.

Do I have to save the code for the MUT 2 byte tables, JDM MAP and add that to this XML or has it NOT been tested yet with this version? I would like to get started on transferring all my stuff over to V5 but will hold off til I get an answer on the other mods first.

I have JDM Map, ecu controlled boost, MUT table, lean spool all working with V5 on the 88xx015 rom.

 

That would have been AWESOME to see the driver's face as you try to pass him and seeing you slam your head looking like a dumbass.
