He wants to know if he can just input that XML he provided in his post into his ROM's XML to make the knock light work. He's still waiting for his cable to upload the ROM to his car. I don't think he wants the full list of mods on his ROM.

So....I just wanna know if this patch for knock cell light that you made for 88840016 in august 2007.....is suitable also for me ....if I have 88840017 stock version map.

I write in red the new address for 88840017 (from my point of view) that I add.....and this is the text that I wanna insert in 88840017 xml file.

ok you can use v5.5 or v6 - both are available in 88840017.

I would probably go V6 - just disable all the stuff you dont need

This answer maybe it was appropriate 4 your V6 thread.....but I will answer to you here.....

Only change that I have at this momment into my rom is rear O2 disabled using periphery.

After I disable rear O2 the cell was off for allmost 220 km.This weekend something happend.....and again my engine light code apeear on without any particular reason.

Since I don`t have the cable to check if this cell is on again because other reasons except rear O2.......I flash as a test your V6 .....Dave.

After reflash the cell become off......but after 30 km the cell become on again. In that momment I was on the highway so I did`nt stop to reflash......

Something was wrong and don`t know what.....without recording some datalog.....

Only instruments available for me at that time understanding your V6 mods into my car..... was my gauges and my personal feelings about the car reactions.

Since my BOW was so quiet I started to be focused on the boost pressure.

What I notice is that I did`nt have same pressure in turbo boost......no throttle like before,acceleration was poor etc.

On highway I had in WOT 1.1 Bar max in 3th or 4th gear.....and in 6th gear max 0,7-0,8 Bar

I was driving like this with V6 for allmost 150 km.....than I stoped and reflash my stock map.

So I must test your V6 more ....but with the tools that I need (cable,evoscan,etc)

If you think that this is important to add this answer to your V6 thread please just tell me...

u can use V6 which has it (if V5 doesn't - i cant remember :P)

thanks, some of the tables (all the tephra mod stuff) seem messed up when I try and read with the 5.1 xml, was thinking maybe the v5 was different. Not a big deal, looks like the injector settings and fuel/ign maps are correct which is mostly what I was looking to get out of it.
