as JohnF said the stock EcuFlash XML for 96530006 is a bit **** - maybe he can post up a link to his copy?

You can download my XML file here http://homepage.mac.com/johnny_fergu...530006.xml.zip
As has been stated before Open Loop RPM doesn't look quite right but everything I use is OK.

John - I just took a look at the disasm - you can use elements=16 for the OpenLoop Loads ie
Code:
<table name="Open Loop Load # 1" address="3624">
	<table name="RPM" address="6594" elements="16"/>
</table>

<table name="Open Loop Load # 2" address="363a">
	<table name="RPM" address="6594" elements="16"/>
</table>

<table name="Open Loop Throttle Low Load" address="3656">
	<table name="RPM" address="6594" elements="16"/>
</table>

<table name="Open Loop Throttle High Load" address="366c">
	<table name="RPM" address="6594" elements="16"/>
</table>

Great. Thanks. I have updated the file.

The RPM side still doesn't go to 7500 like other ROMS!

no, but you could rework the axis to get 7500 if you wanted.

however there probably isn't much point as 6000 == 7500 for the purpose of determining open/closed loop operation

Korekt?
96530006 supports EGR and the hardware is in my edm evo8.

Damn. I would have loved to be able to pull semi-useless parts off my car...

I just had a look for the EGR hardware on my car and can confirm that it is on my car too. I was 99.9% sure the Euro spec Evo would not have EGR but now I am 100% sure it does.

It seems the 260 and USDM could be very similar cars as I believe they share the same cams, as well as having compatible ROM IDs, EGR but no SAS and the two O2 sensors.

I know it was mentioned, but I read through the JDM MAP Sensor post. Is there anything that needs to be changed in the XML to use this, or is it plug and play?

Plug and play if you just want to log boost. Some mods need to be done to control boost with the MAP sensor.

Haven't worked out the mods yet. Waiting for the dust to settle on whether people are going to use this ROM instead of 96940011.

All I need is about 30 minutes of uninterrupted time (yeah, right, good luck with that ) to transfer over my maps, and all the XML changes and tweaks I made, to Dave's v5 96530006, and I'll be running it (sans direct boost control). Map switching is what you might call a "compelling feature" for me.
