So this would be like reading the 2 byte values for the correct address. Anyone have the right address? I may not be able to test until the weekend, but I think Razorlab has the JDM Sensor and would need the correct RAM Address.

I think in the other thread that the Fuel Evap and EGR routines are not showing in the Scantech tool.

Yes, like doing a 2-byte load mod.

I have not run this ROM through IDAPA, but tephra has, so he could easily dig out the RAM address for the ADC poll that corresponds to the MAP sensor.

already posted in the other thread

happy for this thread to continue thou

MUT38 is universal MAP sensor MUT, so regardless of whether your ROM has a MAP sensor or NOT if you log MUT38 and you have something hooked upto the ADC for the MAP sensor then you will get the result.

As MrFred says this is much better than having a ROM that is supposed to have a MAP sensor as you DONT need to edit all the other tables!

This is exactly how my ROM (88580014) is, by default there is NO MAP sensor, so I wired one up. Didn't change ANYTHING else - Then when I logged MUT38 I was able to get the MAP output

DON'T USE 96530006 UNTIL I FIX AN ISSUE WITH THE ALT-MAPS

Alt boost maps are missing their header information

96530006 UPDATE:

I have uploaded a V5.1 - This FIX is only for 96530006, other ROMID's do NOT need to expect a V5.1 for their ROMID.

This highlights the need to proper testing by people, thanks to JohnF hopefully we prevented a potentially bad situation!

Please ppl test your ROM's

tephra, by blips, I mean that NLTS does not seem to work right. It does not seem to work as it did before.

Example: before, I could stomp the gas in 3rd gear at 4000rpms and then push the clutch in. With NLTS set to a 1500rpm drop I would expect the car to sit and blip of of a 2500rpm rev limit until I either let off of the gas or the clutch (and it would in v2). With this new version, the revs blip once at 4000rpms, then revs go up to 5000rpms and another blip, then 6000 and another blip and I let off as it is obviously not working as I am expecting it to.

hrmm maybe thats because of the load threshold - can you retest with NLTS load set to something low (like 50)

H O L Y F * C K I N G S H * T!!!! Tephra you are T H E M A N ! ! ! !

I am absolutely blown away. I have been working towards this setup for a while now and cant believe it finally works! I have the map-switching working in harmony with my Aquamist HFS-1 alky injection kit. Alky kit off, low boost pump gas tune, alky kit on, high boost rocket tune! WOOT!

Ok, some notes, to recap:
-you MUST deactivate the immoblizer to use 9653006 in place of the 9694011 rom on the 2005 USDM ecu.
-I raised valet rev limit to 3000 from default of 114, not sure if this helped.
-dropping NLTS Load threshold to 50 alleviated the above issue.
-I disabled all extra tephra mod options I did not plan on using, including auto-valet. Again, not sure if this helps.
-No CEL for EGR delete. I assume this is because there is no EGR on the EUDM cars.
-I am currently using a simple 240k resister from a 12v source to make the ecu see ~5v on pin 42, it works perfectly fine in initial testing, I will be looking more closely at this, possibly switching to the newer version of the circuit others are using.
-I have tested alt maps for different timing, fuel, and boost. All work as you would expect.
-again, tephra is the M A N! Send him money.

dude - can you retest the valet thing.

set autovalet to 0, leave valet mode on 1 and set the revlimmit to 114.

When you first flash sometimes you need to disable the valet before starting!

Yes, i will be re-testing this as there is a reason you put it there in the first place I'm pretty sure it will work, I think when my car was first sputtering this morning it was just valet mode activated. I talked to s2kracka and when I described to him what was happening, he said it sounded like what his car did when he set valet mode rpm to 0.

0 = 114

Yeah as I said sometimes when you FLASH the ROM to your car valet mode will be ON by default - regardless of the autovalet setting.

Its just a bug with EcuFlash/my code - so just do the disable routine (hold TPS) after you first flash!

You should be able to tell anyways because the CEL fast flashes for VALET mode = ON and slow flashes for VALET mode = OFF
