You did the dirty work and people are thankful.

The fact is that I took the time and logged the data and wrote the text. It was my way of thanking the people of ECUflash for sharing their knowledge with me. A lot of people use the write-up as indicated by the hits and responses.

I know. I was just telling you that he was referring to something else.

What are you talking about... "leak to a level of control". Do you think that opensource progress depends on "leaks" from ECUTEK of all places.

Your right.. This is the openport 2.0 thread. Keep, in mind openport 2.0 is probably going to be the ECU Flash cable for the X.

I think he meant to type "lead."

All this hate towards open source and ECUflash. Let us see what happens when it comes out and it undercuts the price of getting a tune by about $300 (lic fee). All the tuners hi-fiving ECUtek will start using ECUflash instead. The same thing happened with the 8-9. Why pay $750 for a pro tune when you can pay $450 for the same tune from the same tuner!!!

This thread does not belong in the X section. Since its regarding openport, and has a ton of talk about Ecuflash, that's the forum its headed to.
