Is anyone using Direct PSI based boost control on an EVO 8 with ROM ID: 96420008. I know the address on the instructions post but what I am asking is if any one have successfully used direct boost control an EVO 8 with ROM ID: 96420008 and what address you are using for the Variable for boost control. I am trying but so far I have not being able to log Boost Error, it always shows as -3.087 and the WGDC correction is always 0.

 

Am I the only one trying to do direct PSI based boost control on ROM ID 96420008? Have anyone tried this before?

 

Found the problem. He had not quite followed all the instructions in my how-to. :-))

 

I am using ECU Flash 1.34 so I needed to change some of the definitions on the instructions from:

endian="little" to endian="big"

My boost adder ended up being 3706 psi, no wonder why I was always under boost on my boost correction tables. The boost error correction table was also mess up. All the boost entries of 2 bytes (psia16; storagetype="uint16") were messed up due to that. I wil test again today. I am sure this will fix the problem. THanks for the help
